Yearly or Biannual Professional Servicing

Our yearly maintenance will be scheduled around the time each year and includes a synthetic 5W/30 oil change, oil filter change, battery, air filter, and spark plug check, and any reset maintenance and firmware updates, if needed.
Available at optional costs, you can schedule a second visit to make sure your unit is running properly, and our service technicians can do a manual transfer of power to test out the switch as well. Let us know if you would like this follow-up visit and we will schedule it at the time of your yearly maintenance check-up.
This is not a warranty. If you are still under warranty through Generac, we will file a claim on your behalf if you have issues with the generator(s) that are covered under warranty. We will also charge Generac if you are under labor warranty to fix an issue with the generator that is covered under warranty. A service call still applies to come out to troubleshoot the issue for any non-covered item. Thomas Electric is not responsible for manufacture issues, severe weather, or personal tampering.
Additional Generator Options and Services
Cold weather kits are highly recommended in the area we live in. Built in thermostats on the battery and oil filter warmers help insure optimum running conditions in 30 degrees and below. Additional costs apply.
Mobile Link is available that can be connected to your cell phone. This is on newer units only. You can check the status, no matter where you are. Additional cost for unit, install, and monthly monitoring at the going rate applies.
Service Call Charge: The yearly maintenance agreement is for that yearly service only. There will be a service charge to come out to change the battery, start up the generator in severe weather conditions, or troubleshoot any other issues that may present itself with the generator at other times.
